About Meals on Wheels San Francisco

Meals on Wheels San Francisco has been looking after San Francisco’s elderly residents since the late 1960’s. Today, they provide more than 2.2 million meals annually to more than 4,200 homebound seniors, deliver groceries to nearly 500 older adults and those with disabilities, and provide nearly 200,000 meals to adults and families who seek shelter and services through one of the city’s Navigation Centers.

Meals on Wheels San Francisco nourishes the whole person so that older adults in our community can live with dignity and respect in their own homes for as long as safely possible.

PCS Technology & Meals on Wheels San Francisco

Prior to partnering with PCS in 2021, Meals on Wheels San Francisco did not have the proper support in place to manage their IT infrastructure, and their aging technology was on the brink of collapse.

PCS Technology, specifically Dan, now acts as Meals on Wheels San Francisco’s IT Director. In our short time with them, we have:

  • Upgraded their entire technological infrastructure

  • Deployed our full cybersecurity stack

  • Upgraded them from an on-premise file server to Microsoft Sharepoint

  • Replaced their on-premise phone with a cloud solution

  • Managed their day-to-day IT needs

One of the major benefits of working with PCS is that they understand the nonprofit space and where our revenue and funding come from. With their help, we have been able to maximize the money we have and utilize funds for our technology needs.
